Animal research about cats

ANIMAL RESEARCH ABOUT CATS!

Hello! I have been working hard researching my buddy's favourite animal, and I will be sharing lots of interesting facts that maybe you didn't know either…
I will be giving you information about one of the most popular pets in the world.

Cats come in all shapes, colours and  sizes. The heaviest cat weighed 21.3kg, wow that is very big!
Cats spend a lot of their lives sleeping. Did you know they sleep for 12-16 hours a day. That is a lot of sleeping.
When they wake up they like to play with you and they like to be patted.
Cats enjoy lots of different foods.
Here are some foods they like to eat:
Salmon, trout, mackerel,  tuna, chicken.
Here are some foods they cannot eat:
grapes, chocolate, cheese and milk.
I found it very interesting that they cannot drink milk.
If you give cats milk they can get very sick.
If cats need to defend their self they use their claws not their teeth
I have found out lots of fascinating facts about cats, here are just a few for you:
Cats can rotate their ears 180 degrees.
Most cats have no eyelashes.
Cats hearing are five times better than a human.
Cats can jump five times their height.
I found these are very interesting.

What was your favourite fact??

  1. Hi Ava. Well done for researching Cats and posting on your blog. Remember when you copy on to your blog you need to use control c and when you past control shift v so it fits on. Try it and fix it if you can. You have shown that you have some great knowledge of cats to teach your buddy. Well done!

You definitely sound like an expert on cats after reading your information report. You certainly have put a lot of effort into the research. Wouldn't it be great to be a cat and sleep for that long!!
Good luck convincing your Mum to get a cat, you definitely sound like you would know how to look after one!
