Fractions are Fun!

Kia ora and welcome back to my bog.

This week in maths my group have been learning about fractions. Are create task was to make a pick a path. If you don't know what a pick a path is I will tell you. So it is where you have a few questions about a topic like fractions. you will have a question and you have to try and answer it. You will get two options one answer will be right and the other answer will be wrong. You would tap on the answer you think is right then it will tell you if you are right or wrong. You will also have to be in present mode for it to work. Hope you enjoy my pick a path.

What fractions do you know

Kia ora welcome back to my blog,

The Olympics sadly have finished. One of our tasks was to try to create a medal for the Olympics. We got to put anything we wanted on it what related to the Olympics. We could do a bronze  medal, a sliver medal or a gold medal. I chose the gold medal. I had so munch fun making it. I am sad because the Olympics have finished because I loved watching the Olympics if you watch the Olympics who do you like watching?

Here is my medal.

The Yellow Umbrella

Kia ora and welcome back to my blog.

For this term we are learning about the purist of happiness. We watched this short film it was called the yellow umbrella. We had to write a little chunk of it. The teachers would write a sentence and then we would write it but change it up. The film was about Empathy if you do not know what Empathy means it means putting yourself in other people shoes. I hope you enjoy reading my writing.  What are you happy about?

Here's my writing.

The yellow umbrella

On one stormy morning the door to Miss Elen’s Home for children the door opened widely. The girl slowly entered the orphanage before finding a home for her bright gold yellow umbrella. Not wanting to be seen, Boris quickly whipped his head around the corner so that he was hidden from view.  Standing off to the side, the girl glared at the heartwarming scene as the children rummaged in the box for hidden treasures. The girl plastered a big smile on her face as she watched the young girl playing with the doll like it was her real friend. Her smile slowly vanished as she saw that her umbrella was gone. All she saw were puddles. Her lovely umbrella was gone.
