Kia ora and welcome back to my blog.
For this term we are learning about the purist of happiness. We watched this short film it was called the yellow umbrella. We had to write a little chunk of it. The teachers would write a sentence and then we would write it but change it up. The film was about Empathy if you do not know what Empathy means it means putting yourself in other people shoes. I hope you enjoy reading my writing. What are you happy about?
Here's my writing.
The yellow umbrella
On one stormy morning the door to Miss Elen’s Home for children the door opened widely. The girl slowly entered the orphanage before finding a home for her bright gold yellow umbrella. Not wanting to be seen, Boris quickly whipped his head around the corner so that he was hidden from view. Standing off to the side, the girl glared at the heartwarming scene as the children rummaged in the box for hidden treasures. The girl plastered a big smile on her face as she watched the young girl playing with the doll like it was her real friend. Her smile slowly vanished as she saw that her umbrella was gone. All she saw were puddles. Her lovely umbrella was gone.
